Japanese carpentry craft has succeeded for over a thousand year, the reason of that is not only for temples, shrines or tea rooms, but for commoner's houses.



yakisugi,burned japanese cedar ,is not only excellent fire-resistant material but also looks cool and beautiful.

"Akikusa" means grasses in auturm that we can see everywhere in japan.
